Blom has signed a contract for bathymetric survey and hyper spectral data for an amount of NOK 19 million. The contract is a part of an extensive agreement signed between the consortium of the three firms S.T.E., Blom CGR S.p.A. and Telespazio S.p.A. and the Italian Ministry of Environment . The agreement comprises supply of infrastructure, software services and data to support the creation, management and control of the security system regarding certain protected coastal areas in Italy. The forecasted total time for the execution of the project is of 18 months and it is fully financed by the E.U. within the European Union Program for the security of southern regions.
